Our Management Team

Ms. Karen Michelazzi - CEO, National Health Partners

Ms. Michelazzi brings twenty years experience in senior management and consulting for both private and public health care organizations and has extensive experience in the delivery and management of rehabilitation and health related services. In addition to her management roles in several successful health care companies, Ms. Michelazzi has been instrumental in the development of information systems for the health care industry and is a registered physiotherapist.

Ms. Michelazzi is a regular speaker/lecturer on a variety of health care topics and has developed a strong network of key health care personnel.

Ms Gail Kovacs - Director of Vocational and Disability Management Services

Gail Kovacs brings thirty years of experience in the Vocational Rehabilitation and Case Management field.

Gail is a Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor, Registered Rehabilitation Professional and a Diplomate with the American Board of Disability Analysts and holds a university certificate in Human Resources Development. Gail is a past President of the Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, (both National and Provincial levels) and a past President of the Canadian Association for Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment. She has published and spoken extensively on the topic of Vocational Services and is a well recognized expert in the field.

Ms. Michelle Watters - Manager of Disability Services

Michelle Watters brings extensive counseling, job development and placement background to her role. Michelle has been successfully working with National Health Partners for the past five past years as both a Case Manager and Team Leader, and was promoted into this new role in 2004. Her primary responsibilities include management of National Health Partners regional team leaders and liaison with customers and clients.

Ms. Brandy Milne - Administration and Financial Manager

Ms. Brandy Milne has worked with National Health Partners since 1997 and provides general management for all administrative and financial staff and services within National Health Partners.

Our Rehabilitation Team

The professional working with National Health Partners typically bring at least five years of experience and expertise in their field. NHP personnel are well qualified and must:

• Provide documentation they are registered or certified in their field
• Be members or are eligible for membership in their respective professional associations
• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing education
• Maintain their individual professional malpractice insurance
